TAL Superscreed SL is a grey single-component high-performance self-levelling and smoothing Underlayment Compound manufactured from rapid-setting shrinkage-compensated cement and selected aggregates, designed with high flow properties when added to water to produce a smooth and durable floor surface prior to the fixing of floor coverings with minimum installation time. TAL Superscreed SL is ideal for residential and commercial installations. TAL Superscreed SL was developed as a self-levelling product; however the success of the installation is dependent on the correct background preparation and mixing procedures. When mixed with TAL Screedbinder (as a total water replacement) it becomes excellent for use as a protective barrier over under tile heating elements. The addition of TAL Screedbinder could however affect the flow characteristics and self-levelling properties of TAL Superscreed SL. If TAL Screedbinder is to be incorporated in the mix, the mix ratio should be increased to 5.5L.
It is imperative that the water : powder ratio is strictly adhered to.
